Mercury 115 EFI Boat Motor
Four-cylinder four-stroke engines with electronic fuel injection, remote control and electric starting. The EFI system (Electronic Fuel Injected) brings to perfection even without this excellent technical characteristics of these four-stroke engines. Electronics measures fuel exactly, taking into account besides frequency of crankshaft rotation and size of motor loading, temperature of surrounding air, temperature of cylinder crankcase, piston position, pressure in an inlet collector. All this allows Mercury 115 EFI engines to be even more economical, than ordinary four-stroke engines. In addition, motors with the EFI injection system differ with reliable starting and steady work even on the smallest turns in any temperature range. Low level of noise and pollution of the environment taken to the minimum – another plus for Mercury F115 EFI.

Due to the compatibility with the SmartCraft system, which represents complete information of the motor work parameters and technical condition, even unprepared man can steer Mercury 115 EFI. If some of parameters exceed a norm in case of owner carelessness or inexperience, the ECM555 electronic control block will make a warning signal and then will correct the motor operating mode. All of engines are equipped with alternators of 315 Watt. The cooling system is supplied with thermostat and pressure regulator, which support the stable temperature conditions of engine work. The fuel system has also liquid cooling, that`s why Mercury 115 owners never have such problem, as fuel boiling and formation of steam corks, resulting in interruptions of motor work. It doesn`t matter how intensively they exploit their engines, it works good. An exhaust is made through propeller hub. Construction of suspension bracket has electric-hydraulic incline regulation. Mercury 115 are supplied with standard (508 mm) and long (635 mm) dead-wood. The button of emergency stop is included in standard kitting-up of all engines.

Honda BF 225 Boat Motor
Six-cylinder V-type four-stroke engine with the liquid cooling, remote control and electric starting. Honda BF 225 has  all traditional advantages of four-stroke motors: separate system of greasing (there is no need to add oil to fuel), more clean exhaust, low noise and vibration, high reliability, economy and resource. All of Honda engines are supplied  with the current generators of 750 Watt and system of hydraulic raising.

Johnson 140 Boat Motor
Four-cylinder four-stroke injector outboard boat motors of 140 horsepower with in-line location of cylinders, electric starting, remote control and remotely changeable engine trim angle. Johnson 140 motors are supplied with lengthened (508 mm) and long (635 mm) dead-wood. Part of Johnson models has counter-clockwise rotation of propeller shaft.

Different types of use for your Yacht

When buying your Yacht, you need to consider a few things, one of those things is how much your going to use your yacht, so i’ve listed a few below.

Day sailing – Usually don’t have a cabin, designed for daily use not overnight trips.

Weekender yachts – These are able to sail in shallow waters, Can have a small cabin, and kitchen.

Cruising yachts – Great for personal use and can have a great design. Usually built for families with cabins below the deck. These yachts can travel thousands of meters.

Luxury sailing boats usually 82 ft plus. The largest of these types are highly computerized and involve very little work.

Racing yachts can reach speed of 35 knots!

Buying your yacht New or Used?

Yachts are top of the range boats mainly used for pleasure, yahts can come in a wide variety of designs, and types. When buying your yacht you should aim to find one that your comfortable with and fits your tastes. Some important points to look upon when buying a new or used yacht is to list all the things you wish to have on your boat. Ask yourself what do i need, and what do i want. When i say what do you ”Need” i mean what is the essentials, are you going to use it for a weeks holiday? If so then your going to need cookers, beds etc, enough so you can live in, if you are using it for a small fishing day trip, some things can be left out. Then what i mean by your ”Wants” is the luxuries your yacht could have, TV’s etc.

Always plan a budget before you go out shopping for a yacht and stick to it, otherwise it could be a very expensive purchase.

Buying A New Yacht

If you’re rather buy a new boat, all you need to do is enter into an agreement with the builder or distributor.

Items To Consider When Buying A Used Yacht

It’s a fact that a person can buy and sell a yacht without the need for formal paperwork, as a verbal agreement between two parties would be enough to constitute a legally binding contract, but we strongly recomend a contract when buying.

Other Factors To Take Into Consideration

Whether you’re buying the boat from the owner the most important factors to consider are the overall condition of the yacht, and whether the seller actually has, or is given the right to sell that particular boat. Unless the boat is being bought as part a restoration project or the buyer is well aware of its actual state, the advice is to always enter into an agreement that is “subject to survey” within the terms of the contract.

Some tips on buying your luxury yacht

Super Yachts, Octopus is the seventh largest yacht

Today I’m going to write about Octopus, which is currently the seventh largest luxury yacht in the world, the owner of the monstrous yacht is the co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen. The ship measures a massive 414 feet, with many luxuries to go along with it including, two helicopters, a submarine which can stay under water for 2 weeks at a time, and holds eight people. The ship also has an additional seven boats, for activities and lifeboats, the ship can boast its Music hall, and Movie theatre along with many other desirable features. It was previously the worlds largest privately owned super yacht, and held this spot for over five years. Espen Oino Naval Architects one of the world leaders in designing luxury yachts designed this particular yacht, in which German shipbuilders then built the exterior. The interior designer was Jonathan Quinn Barnett and Christian Grevstad. Maintenance and salaries on the ship cost a reportedly 10% percent of the initial cost of the yacht which is 200 million dollars. The Octopus Yacht only hire the world leaders in their fields to work on the ship, and everything is done to perfection, Royal Family standards.
